Hi everyone,
Thank you for posting your list of goals and objectives. Majority of our goals and objective were similar, which was great and helpful knowing that we are on the same page to our group project scenario. Below is a draft on the 5 learning goals and 7 learning objectives that I have combined from everyones list.
Please take a look and post comments and suggestion on the Walden's Groups groups "WEEK 2" discussion thread so Dr. Burke can monitor our participation.

Final Draft
Goals:
1. Given resource materials about 19th and 20th century American painters, volunteers will recall information and be an expert.

2. Given standard operation and procedures, volunteers will conduct tour exhibit specializing in 19th and 20th century American painters within two-hours interval.
3. Given proper policies and procedure, volunteers at the “information station” will possess thorough knowledge to answer any visitors’ questions in relationship to the museum and exhibits.
4. Given a list of patrons’ information, volunteers will compile and maintain patrons’ database using Excel program after formal training is completed.
5. Given specific information and purpose to contact museum patrons, volunteers will call and e-mail patrons to raise funds in order to maintain the museum’s sustainability to enrich the guest.
Objectives:
1. Volunteers will possess knowledge and skill to verbally recall biographies of the 19th and 20th century American artists, history, and type of mediums used in the paintings from the learning curriculum through fact sheets, videos, actual paintings, biography books about the painters, and audio recording.
2. Volunteers will be knowledgeable about museums’ polices, procedures, and general information to provide specific answers to the following FAQs with good interpersonal skills.
(museums’ business hours, address, phone number, events, direction, and exhibit information of each floor, becoming a patron, access to the disabled, and restrooms)
3. Volunteers will acquire or have prior knowledge in using Excel software to perform tasks in adding and entering patron’s application form, organizing the database, and retrieving patron’s information efficiently.
4. Given the extent of the patron’s list, volunteers will demonstrate professional communication skills when calling and e-mailing 50 patrons every month to effectively raise funds. Volunteers need to acquire strong oral and written skills.
5. The museum volunteers need to undergo a more formalized training program in order to raise the quality and efficiency of their time volunteering for the museum. This requires that they learn the necessary skills that will give them proficiency in tour narration, Excel software, and calling and emailing patrons in order to raise funds.

6. Live demonstration exercise in what volunteers have learned for each task will be performed to observe and measure learning outcome in accuracy and terminal behavior.
7. Museum will monitor and evaluate the training curriculum for effectiveness through visitors’ attendance and patrons’ membership. If the visitors and patrons decline then training curriculum needs to be reviewed and updated.
Rational:
The five goals chosen meet the client’s request in training and equipping the volunteers with skills ensuring learning outcome that are terminal for accomplishing the four tasks. Each learning objective has a clearly stated goal and they are all encapsulated by the over-arching learning goal. They are specific, measurable, and observable, which will enable us to win the museum contract and ultimately, design a training program that will meet the requested expectations of the museum directors. At the end, the learning goals and objectives establish standardize learning outcome for all volunteers that will benefit the museum.
